    Newton Lake

    Anybody been over to Newton lately. Ive never fished it in the summer. Just curious if theyre biting or not

    I’ve only had one bad fishing day on Newton and I still had better results than I usually get at other local lakes. Have fun!

    Supposed to be going Monday evening with Philly. We'll give you a report and maybe post a few pics if we catch any that are picture worthy.

    Can you idle the big motor on this lake? I saw what I believe is a 25hp limit, Is this true?

    Only 25 hp and less allowed on the lake or you can use your trolling motor.

    I was just there the last 4 days in a row and the lake has been on fire!!! Tuesday was the toughest day but we still caught close to 30 and 10 keepers. Saturday and Sunday were both awesome!! Sunday we weighed 4 over 5 lbs and several more in the 4.5-to pushing 5 lb range. Saturday and Sunday being the best we caught 60-70ish both days. Better get out and enjoy it because it's a blast!!!!
