    Bissell Little Green Machine

I would just like to thank again the Member who first suggested the Bissell Little Green for cleaning the carpet in a bass boat. These darn boats are just too expensive not to take care of them and anyone who owns or has rented a Bissell carpet cleaner knows the fantastic job they do. The amount of grim left in the carpet even after a thorough vacuuming is unbelievable. Do yourself a favor and get one and use it two times per year. I got mine at Lowe's.

I just use the big Bissell. It’s faster and does a better job because it has scrubbing brushes. Then use the lil guy for the corners

It is crazy how much dirt collects in there. I vacuum mine regularly and occasionally pressure wash, and still had mud coming into my carpet shampoo machine.

Been using the Little Green machine for a while now. It's amazing how much dirt it gets out.

I just scrub my carpet with a carpet cleaning solution that's mixed in a bucket and suck it up with a wet shop vac. Then I'll rinse the carpet with clean water to ensure I got most of the solution up.

I use the big one. House, boat, vehicles, office, apts,RV. Love it, but use 1/2 them soap and run 3 rinse washings. The soap can attract dirt if left in carpet fibers.

Exactly why I won't use any method using soap or shampoo anymore. Past 10 years I use the 50/50 vinegar/water flood, scrub, flood, vacuum method.

Will the Bissell work with 50/50 vinegar/water solution?
If it does, that would be my go to method.

That's the only way to clean boat carpet. Makes it so easy.

I use it to (partially) dry my carpet after rainy trips when I can't pull the boat out of the garage to dry. Amazing how much water gets pulled out of the carpet!

Did you use regular carpet shampoo or vinegar and water?

I've used both. This time I used the Bissell Oxy. No problems, I've used it before and prefer it. It does not suds up.

Can you post a picture of the bottle? There seems to be a few different Oxy choices. My concern is any discoloration of the carpet when using any type of cleaners. Thanks
I just cleaned my carpet using the shaving cream method and it came out really nice. I used the little green machine to vacuum everything up. Although the carpet came out clean, it did smell like shaving cream lol. On my way home from St Clair I stopped in the car wash and rinsed the carpet good and it’s back to normal. I probably could of used a garden hose at home to rinse but kinda liked the smell for a little while.
