Does anyone know the approximate weight of a RT198p and trailer?
If I am remembering correctly, the 2019 hull weighed 1330-1350lbs. They don't publish the trailer weights but if it is a single-axle I would say 700lbs. If you have a 150 Merc hanging on it those are 455lbs dry.

My trailer is roughly 850 on my 2017 dry hull weight is 1300 appox I would plan on around 3500 to 4000lbsOriginally Posted by thawk21

You should be able to get super close on just the trailer weight if memory serves me correct by using the sticker on the trailer and doing a little math. My single axle came in at 870lbs when I did the math and if I am using the correct the numbers.
The boat weighs 1550 lbs., motor is 455 lbs. and the tandem axle trailer has a GVWR of 3750 lbs.
... the 2021 models weigh 1550lbs. The 2020 and earlier hulls weigh less because they lengthened the hull in 2021 6" and added significant bracing. The 2020 and older hulls weigh 1330-1350lbs.

My dual console RT188 with a 115 weighed 2700 pounds ready to fish. I stopped one day and weighed it on a trucking scale. 3500 should be a reasonable estimate for the 198.
GVWR is 3725 on the Ranger Web Site.
