    Bassmaster 100 Best Lakes

I didn't see any Indiana fisheries on the list (for the umpteenth year in a row I think)?! What a surprise.....

I've heard there are some friendly dock owners up there.

Depends on the lake, some of them are very nice, on wawasee not so much. But wawasee gets hammered by tournaments.

There is a lake here that gave up a 23, 22, and I think 21lb limits in a tournament this year on the same weekend as the classic. I like patoka, but glad I live in the northern half of the state and have about 50 lakes to pick from within a short drive.

Part of the problem is the DNR only cares about hunting here in indiana. I been buying fishing licenses for years and nothing but they sent me a survey on hunting?? even though I never bought a hunting license in my life!

Kentucky and Tennessee on the other hand send me several pages long surveys on the fishing when i buy their 7 days licenses lol, it's a night and day difference.

Apparently you haven't seen what has been coming out of Patoka the last few weeks.

And here I thought DNR only cared about the two toed three legged albino toads so they can deny a bridge renovation.

If my memory serves me right, I think Lake Monroe was mentioned in a BASS magazine top 100 article many years ago. Obviously that's not true today, but there are still some nice fish that come out of there.

Lots of nice fish come out of Monroe daily. I literally see 4-6lb fish weighed every single week. Saw some last night, Tues night night, last Saturday. Been plenty over 5 lbs in my boat this year out of Monroe and Heather got one over 6 last month. The 3 fish limit weeknight tourneys are taking 9-14 lbs to win, it's been fishing well the last 3 years.
