    Bobcat

    Anyone priced one?

    Can you order one?

Much like the phelix was not much info out there in the world about the phelix replacement.

looks like the phelix hull with a side console and raised decks with a lot of storage for that size boat. I would be interested in throwing a poling platform on it and making it a cross over boat for costal flats and lake fishing.

I thought the hull was based on the Margay?

Yes, it is a new boat with the Bobcat name. The model shown was never released for production.

It is the 17’ 7” product and 90” beam, with a totally new deck format and console. Horsepower rated at 150 max.

Sweet how skinny can you make the trailer? There is a guy in the general boats section looking for a skinny ride

Agree, the ride wasn't very good which is kinda surprising as it is a narrow boat, at least narrower than the 364 and 374.

17’ 10” and 86” beam on the 350 hulls. 372 and 374 was same hull, with 360 being the new hull from 1989, post 340 and 390.

Got a cousin that still owns a Ranger 340V with the original Mercury XR2 150. He took it over after his brother passed away from myeloma about 6-7 yrs ago. Now THAT little boat is a fun ride! Every now and then we get to hear that sweet sound of the XR2 screaming across the water at 6K + rpms...

What is the center console boat with Honda 50 that Mark Davis and Mark Rose got stuck in the sand? Davis put a picture on FB "Prefishing landed both @markroseoutdoors and me in the sand with our Bass Cat Boats here on Champlain."

I would have loved that original Bobcat and was really hoping for a release but it never happened which was disappointing.

I know most BCB owners don’t know much on the Phelix but it’s a a amazing boat. Probably the best boat out there for the money by a long shot. Extremely stable, in fact so stable I found anglers in Florida adding small towers on them to make skiffs for the flats. Every time I take that boat out I get people asking me questions on it. I just wish I could put a bigger motors on it at times. A 60 would be nice, but it was phenomenal to fish Newton, a 25 HP lake.
