    2018 Honda 150

Are Honda’s all slow to wind up on take off? Running a 4 blade on a light boat and is slow coming out of the hole. I realize these Honda’s aren’t race motors, but man are they slow to wind up ( rpms)

Do you have any vents open on the prop?? You should have all holes plugged solid. I have never had any issues with hole shots on my Hondas

I bought this boat this spring. It came with a 22P Tempest, all plugs are out ( I don’t have em). The slippage was terrible. I put the 4 blade on 20P and that is the one takes forever.

    It will hit 6000rmps

Get some plugs and block off the ports. I would also try the 22P. I ran a 23P on my Xpress X19 with a BF150 with no issue.

What 4 blade are you running?
97 Ranger r82 with 05 honda bf150, Helix 10 mega link with 1198c, Ultrex 80. Fish hard and keep hooking.

looks like 4 inches. Outboard level, yardstick pad to center of LU level.

I would start to raise it, They like to run high. go to 3.5 and then 3.25 watching your water pressure and top end.
