I have not fished much at all the past couple weeks do to work obligations but friends are telling me that the deep bite is still not very consistent and I am sure that the high water has a lot to do with that. I drive over different parts of the lake several times every day and the water is still way up. I would imagine that there are some good fish to be caught on the green water willows, but that normally involves fish'n a bunch of dead water until you get bit...and then you can usually catch a few in one small area.
