Love my new 4-stroke motor. Holeshot, low-end torque, mid-range. All much stronger than my 2-stroke. Startup and idle sounds awesome. Like a full race 454 Chevy!

Top end, not so strong. Lost 2 or 3 mph. Outside temps/water temps are higher now so maybe I didn't lose all that much. And why would I be in such a hurry anyway? I'm retired!

    Nice spot.
I've been wandering about the 4 strokes. Wanting one, just a long wait right now.

I talked to a local dealer. He said he basically can't get a motor without a boat....like a year wait.

Took my next door neighbor out Fri morning and caught 10 of those football Spots. Working bluffs and bluff ends with spoon and drop shots. My biggest was 3#, 1 oz. His biggest was 2#, 15 oz (he's shown holding his in the last pic).

I hit Table Rock today, caught some spots, but none that would qualify as a football. Did get a nice wallie.

Nice wallmeister. I catch a few here while bass fishing, usually while throwing cranks. We caught one a week ago on a spoon but it was only around 18".

Believe me I would be fishing a lot but my new boat is at Skeeter getting repaired. Been there over two weeks and I was told the average turn around time is 30 days.

No, didn't wreck it. It looks like a defect in the gelcoat or something. There is a crack about 8 inches long under one of the sponsons. It looks like a layer of gelcoat is pealing away or something like that. It's under warranty of course but I'm worried there are more defects in other places of the boat that haven't cracked yet.

Kirk, it's that loose nut behind the steering wheel.
If you need to go fishing before it gets back you know my number.

Thats the biggest defect for sure. Thanks Gene! I got a call from Skeeter yesterday that the boat was ready and I picked it up today. I also took the factory tour while I was there and that was pretty cool. We still need to get out and do some fishing.
