    2015 H18 Pro Help

I decided to put a Bob's machine manual jacking plate on the boat because I was not able to get but 5650 RPM's and 46 mph with the 115 yamaha with a 20p prop, what should I set the height of the cl of prop from bottom of boat, and should I go ahead and get a 19p prop, I'm think the 20p will never get me the desired 6000 to 6300 rpm's

Mine is a power tech I've read where they are junk, it was a 21p I had it bumped down to a 20p because of not reaching but around 5450 rpm what prop do you have?

I had a 2012 H18 with F115 and 6 inch manual plate. I ran a Yamaha K21 prop and was able to see 52-54mph regularly. I don't remember any other details on the setup.

I'm not exactly sure what the differences are between the two boats.

I have a 10” high jacker JP on my H18pro 150 hpdi with a 23 four blade fury motor 1” below pad. 60 mph at 5700-5800 rpms depending on load and weather. Also rides great at 4000-4800 rpms holds the front up nicely.. no bounce. Had extra cup added and double pvs holes plunged the front four.

I had a 98 H-56 with a 4 blade powertech on a 135 mariner & it was slow at 51 gps & felt like it slid out from under you when getting on pad & i thought the ride sucked personally. I put a 6" Vance plate on & tried my buddys Turbo 3 blade & it was night & day difference. 58 to 60 gps with good lift & it handled great after that. If not for the drifting in the wind i'd still own it today & i would still buy another Xpress in a heartbeat if i found the right deal on another for sure.
