I know they are fast. But how long will those batteries last and how much to replace them?
Eh, there are guys running faster times in pump gas street cars now. And for the record, .142 seconds would be about full 2 car lengths ahead.

I'm telling you now the biggest issue could be the batteries . From what I understand the ability to dispose of the batteries is problematic. If a plastic bottle of water can cause so much pollution damage what will a car battery do?

It's not about sound, batteries, gas powered vs. electric, or pollution. It's about just plain freakin' cool!

Oh, it's a "one of a kind prototype". Probably heated the batteries before the run, too. Electric cars don't turn my crank, nor do automatic transmissions...unless they have paddle shifters.
