Any of you guys dealt with this yet?
Likely needs new seals, any links to wrenchs and parts kits?

This is a known issue with the SHO. I have a 2016 and the trim was rebuilt twice before Yamaha authorized a trim unit replacement (under warranty) on the 3rd issue.

I have been running mine about 4 months and had no issues with trim until recently. I checked the manual release screw and it was tight. I did not try backing it off and screwing it back in. The dealer tried replacing that valve this week and has now ordered a new unit from Yamaha.

Try Releasing the manual screw and trimming it up and down a few times. Then tighten it back down. Worked for me

After tilting it up, bump it back down a skosh. See if that stops it or not.

Lower side of mounting plate on passenger side, has a hole through the plate and is marked, straight screw driver fits it.

    250 SHO still leaking down

Anyone have a real fix for this? I have had mine at Yamaha dealer 4 or 5 times now for this! (warranty expires 2024) They have replaced the bleed valve assy a couple times and the Trim/Tilt Unit TWICE!! The latest trim/tilt unit lasted the longest... about 3 months.. now the motor is slowly coming down again whether on the Tilt or Trim rams, does not matter. Release screw is tight.

It is going back to the shop this week... ugh... so frustrating.
