went out this morning with very little success. managed to get a few small ones but cant find any size that i was finding in the spring. tried topwater early, fished shallow, moved to docks, then offshore but nothing was really producing.
a search of the lake doesnt seem like many reports for the lake during the summer. is the fishing that bad or do people get tired of the dern wake boats. you cannot fish the weekend because of them but cant manage at least a good half day trip during the week.
Went yesterday from 5pm-9 caught over 30 with half keeper size fish. No bigs. Most were caught 12-17ft of water. Topwater bite was good late. I've had better luck with the evening bite lately.

havent tried afternoon bite at all. what area of the lake were you fishing? i tried main lake and went back into a couple creeks. water was a couple degrees cooler in the creeks.
