    Source for rod racks is in that thread along with tons of other info on our boats.

    Dang! Sorry to hear that. Thanks for the info.

    I know several folks on here have built their own...using golf tubes, etc. Maybe a search can find some ideas for you...or try a post in the General forum????

    Bud, I have the original one out of my '01 196 that I'll friggin' GIVE to you if you'll pay the shipping! Your call whether you want the tubes or not. Might be pricey to ship them when all they are is old golf bag tubes.

    Rod socks are much better in my opinion. Too easy to damage rods with rack systems.

    +1 on that. I just recently removed the moose-heads from my 198. To many broken eyes on the rods. Rod socks work much better.
