    Question for Phenix Rod Pro Staff

    I use Phenix and Lews exclusively and am looking at making a baitacasting setup for weightless creature baits and other plastics to toss around overhanging trees, docks, bushes, etc...Was looking at using UMBX 707ML for a rod and a Team Lews Lite speed spool, filled with either 10 or 12lb flourocarbon...any changes or suggestions to going forward with this set up?

    I’m definitely not a pro staffer, but I’m kind of a Phenix fanboy. I’d go with a MH Feather, either 6’9” or 7’1” depending on your preferences. Can’t help on the reel front.
