    Need advice on prop

I have a 2004 procraft pro 185 with a 2012 mercury 150 optimax with a 22p solas prop and a 5 inch backplate, I’m currently running 51mph tournament load, at 5,000 rpms. And my captivation plate is about a inch above pad. I see everybody running in the 60’s with the same boat, any opinions on what should I do to try and improve performance? Thanks!

That motor should turn 5800 rpm easy. Something isn't right. Try a 24 Fury prop. Tempest is another good prop for ProCrafts

I have a 23 tempest I tried as well and I’m not getting the rpms so I tried my 22p solas, but still not getting the rpms, I’m not sure what to do next.

I had a 23 Trophy on my 2000 procraft dual console and mercury 150 optimax and ran 62 mph by myself. Hole shot was awesome.

It might have been a 24, I don't own the boat anymore, but I loved it when I had it.
