    Visiting, Where to fish ?

    Tight Lines everyone.
Here visiting grandkids now, Abilene area .
I fished Coleman on Father's day, with my 2 sons.
Just wondering what other lakes nearby, within an hour or two.
Would be good to fish for largemouth.
Thanks in advance, only here for a week.
Last 2 times I was here went to Lake Fork and Choke Canyon.
Maybe next trip, next year can plan for something further.
But this time I am limited, that is why asking for somewhere closer. I will be fishing from a boat.

Why not O.H. Ivie Lake just to the south of Abilene? Heard a lot about that place earlier this year.

That would be my choice. There are some toads in that lake, as evidenced by the number of Share Lunkers caught in the last couple of years.
