    Does anyone fish Lake Springfield?

I saw they have restrictions on fishing near private property. It looks like most of the shoreline is private property. Are there decent places to fish the shore there, or are you pretty much offshore fishing the whole time?

There's definitely some other shorelines...just look for signage on docks if you move in on one...if posted, move on...has been my experience

I was just there last Sunday. A few of the docks are posted and I respect that and move on. A lot of the shoreline is undeveloped and you have rip rap and brush to fish. You do need a permit. The launches are nice,

I fish Springfield often. You can fish docks bit if they have a no fishing sign posted on their dock just move on to the next one and you wont have any issues

Thanks. Didn't know you needed a permit.
