Fish early because after 10:00 it's a freaking madhouse. Top waters for breakers and shakey heads around docks that's my normal if I have to get on it in the summer.

Next month? either fish another lake or fish at night. It'll be party central from 9am-8pm. Big ski boats, party barges, etc....it's like being inside a washing machine. If at night, brushpiles out deep (18-25ft) on points/humps with a big worm or big spinnerbait. If daytime, get off the water by 10am...looking for topwater fish.

I stayed there at the campground a couple years ago and fished the river from a float tube and from a pontoon boat and did pretty good. However if it's anything like around here and most other places it probably got a ton of fishing pressure due to the Chinese plandemic, so it may not be as good as before.
