Aaron Martens news....

    He posted this today:

[b]I suffered a grand mal seizure on Sunday and have been in the ICU since then. The doctors and nurses at Grandview have been great, but I can’t wait to get back to my own home and bed. They hope to discharge me tomorrow. Needless to say, while we do follow-up over the next week, I’ll have to miss the tournament that I was really looking forward to since it was announced - the BPT Stage 5 at the St Lawrence River, but I hope and pray to be back to chasing big smallies at Champlain.

Really tough to see. Aaron truly is one of the best to ever hold a rod. I pray God heals him.

One of the best things from the Classic was Hank Cherry asking everyone to pray for Aaron during his acceptance of the trophy. Shows a lot about Hank, during what should be his biggest moment of his fishing career, he's thinking about his friend.

I really hate to see this. That was the beginning of the end for my wife after her glioblastoma surgery and chemo.
