I think the money spent on powerstop towing brake upgrade is well worth the money. No complaints with mine

I will throw in the make sure your wheels are hand torqued, believe it your not impact guns can warp rotors.

My 2015 had a recall on the brakes, but things came up and I forgot about it. Well, mine reminded me of it, the brakes basically failed at low speeds, at the airport when I was leaving for a trip. When I returned, I attempted to drive to shop, and they worked fine at speeds over about 25, but were sluggish under that speed. They were repaired under warranty, they replaced the booster. I learned my lesson, follow up on recalls PDQ.

I have always torqued mine and still had the rotors warp.
I changed to powerstop all the way around and no issues at all.
Drilled keeps them cooler and less likely to warp.
And IMHO the flat surface of a stock rotor, when heated quickly by hard stopping, doesn't give the ultra hot surface anywhere to expand to, making them warp. The slots give an area for the hot surface to expand radially to help prevent warping.
