    trim swith

    serial # og804104. im told this engine has a trim switch so when im running down the lake i cant trim it to much and blow it up. so if this is true how does this switch work , rpms and angle of the engine? i know i can get more speed just didnt want to over trim it

    so there is not a sensor or a switch on the engine to prevent over trimming the engine while running

    No, it's internal to trim system to prevent engine being tilted beyond trim range under power.

    Thanks guys, the old owner asks me how it’s running and I tell him great 65 mph. He says he was getting 74 just trim it up, did not know it had some sort of limiter to stop it
