    Currect thermostat?

    Hey all
    So back to this 86 yamaha 115 2 stroke that iv been dealing with. Overheating again!! So i change cylinder gaskets, changed thermostats, modified the poppet valves do to sticking closed and it still triggers and overheat siren. It pees great and i just dont get it. Would anybody know the next step to do to try to figure this out? Also would anybody know the exact thermostat number, i should get for this (OEM) part? I got an after market and dont think its the right one. Someone told me that there is different degrees in the thermostats.

    not sure on yours but my 85 150 over the years I have had to pull the heads and clean the crusted deposit out of the holes that water flows ,three times Something to think about
