sorry boat is at cabin dont have sn will post it later ,2020 merc v8 300hp verado six beeps ,active exhaust valve not working ,tried plug connection it was tight, part is still back ordered here in canada ,if i use boat, i should just get warning beeps i was told ,but want to make sure it will not go in gaurdian mode and strand me a ways out .thanks

Shouldn't "STRAND" you, but that does not mean that Guardian won't be active.
You should have that inspected by an Authorized Dealer, however...

We did that's how I found out what it was .I drove it for about 2 hrs and drives fine but beeps .just nervous to get stranded till part comes in
