Ghost Squeeking

So I love my ghost TM. Only one issue. Turn left and turn on thrust and loud metalic squeek. Turn right with thrust same sound. Can see the entire unit flex as you turn left to right or right to left when under prop turning/thrust.

I tightened every bolt very tightly. NO change.

any other options? Its getting very loud. Goes up and down perfectly (stow/deploy). It otherwise is awesome. And I am far from anal. its getting really loud and happens every time you turn head under thrust. It happens when base attached to boat flexes.

I would look here as well. The two allen bolts holding the motor to the mount tend to get loose. I was very surprised after installing my Ghost and only having it out a few times. Had it not been for some people on here mentioning it, I probably wouldn't have even checked them. But I did and found that they both needed more than a full turn to tighten them up again.

Mine is a little better after tightening many of the allen heads up. Still getting some creaking noise though.

I am getting the same creaking noise on 5 or higher when turning. I think it’s just what they do

3 in 1 oil at every hinge point. Lasts a couple days. Takes mine from what you describe to silent.

Mine is doing the same. Even with all joints well lubed. On 4 or below, its quiet. Stows and deploys without any issues. Love the motor but I left MK because the Fortrex mount creaked like crazy.

I quieted mine totally with mole skin I use on my bow. I put it on top of the plastic where the aluminum frame sits when deployed, a 6" piece one each side starting at the hinge end. Mine was quieting some with use, but can hardly hear its turning now.

Did the same with 1/2 black rubber adhesive back tape. No more noise after 2 years.
