    Hotfoot location

Why doesn’t Ranger design a cockpit to incorporate a hotfoot so you don’t have to sit cockeyed.

They finally did in the new 520R. I took the hot foot slide plate out my nearly new 2020 and made a template and re drilled new holes to at least turn it and aim it sorta towards my right leg not my third leg. I wish I ordered DTS so I would had the smaller foot pedal and the option to just use the hand throttle. Just stupid engineering, way more 20 and 21 foot boats have foot throttles then don't so make a spot for the hoot foot and if they dont get the hot foot install a dead pedal to use as foot brace.

I read somewhere that the reason it's like that is for long runs you can switch feet.

When I repowered, I was originally going to get the DTS until I was told how much it would cost.
