    Bearing dust cap coming off

The dust cap goes on tight and flush but after trailering starts to work off and letting grease out. Any advice?

Try dimpeling the fitting edge by laying it on it's side and wacking a punch or a small diameter nail set on the inner edge of the fit surface so that you end up with a raised surface with punch marks around the cap about 1/2" apart. You might need to tap the cap into place with something like a pipe coupling big enough to fit over most of the rounded surface. Have you tyried a set of bearing buddies to cover the hole?

Check that the bearings are properly tightened. Loose bearings can cause the cap to work loose.

If bearings check out, try sitting the cap on top of your trailer hitch ball and give it a couple of light taps.

Buy a couple of new caps, if they won't stay in, throw them away.
