G-Force prop nut

I bought one of these for my Garmin Force TM.... but on installing..it doesn't go all the way to the gasket on the prop nut..

All I am doing is removing the original nut off of the TM... and twisting this on.. do I need to remove more from the prop?

there were no instructions... curious if anyone had similar issues or am I not removing enough stuff from the Prop area???

Any feedback would be helpful..

Typically on the minnkota ones I have used you just are replacing the nut. Not sure why it wouldn't seat all the way.

well... now I feel like a total asshat... LOL

I had to remove the spacer there... once I did that,,, everything lined up like it needed too..

Problem solved..
