reel seat trigger
I bought a rod and the trigger on the reel seat has more curve than i like. Can i heat it up with a heat gun and bend it out a little. Or is there a another way.

You could probably sand down the tip to reduce the curvature which will weaken the trigger or slowly fill in the curve with coats of epoxy to build build it up until you get the profile to your liking then sand it for final smoothing . I have added plastic worm colorant to epoxy before and it seems to work well so you could try to match the grip color this way .
