Best Crappie Lake in AR (Spring Time)

So, if you don't already have a favorite Crappie lake, or a lake that you know well... So starting from scratch....

And you're gonna take off for 2 weeks in the spring to crappie fish and camp. And you've got Live Scope/all the best electronics and a spot lock TM. Which lake would you choose to
spend 2 weeks on to max crappie fillets in the freezer??

I'm not a crappie fisherman, but Millwood would be my pick.....otherwise, I'd recommend driving about an hour more or so from there and going to Lake O the Pines. I was there in April and just fishing for bass with a chatterbait during my BFL I caught 10-15 stud crappie, best 5 went prolly around 11-12lbs. It was stupid....

If you’re planning way ahead for your vacation and plan on staying 2 weeks. Don’t go to Bl Mt or Nimrod. Those lakes will fluctuate fast and ruin your vacation. After they settle down the fishing is good again but takes a few days.

The lake you live by has some of the biggest crappie in the state in it.

Like Boone said, its hard to catch nimrod in the spring when it isn't flooded everywhere. You can still catch them, but too many places for them to be. I like ouachita for crappie in the spring. Its big enough I can get away from people, unlike hamilton, nimrod, dardanelle etc.

I'm from Benton. It's like 3 hours away, in Texas.
