    Adding cup does what for a prop?

    Changes the pitch slightly. Will give it a bit more bite. If you're not overpropped it should add a little bit to your top end. Will give you more bow lift and decrease RPM's and slip.

    It can also reduce rpms and speed if the boat can't benefit from the extra lift.

    Mark Croxton added cup to my 25P tempest plus. Improved my hole shot and with the rework on the prop I picked up 2-3 mph.
    Just finished up a 93 Javelin with a Ryker II and Mark added cup to it also. Hole shot improved greatly.

    to much cup has the same effect as having a much thicker blade increasing rotating resistance
