I have a 05 merc that currently wont start or trim from the motor and driver side but the trim on the bow works. Would this be a fuse problem or wiring problem?

Sounds like wiring in the throttle. Neutral switch possible

I am thinking a fuse or main power relay on the engine. The switch on the bow is wired to the boat power. That is why it continues to function.

What motor do you have? Check fuses and trim relays located on starboard side of motor is where I would start.
