    Knock sensor question

    I have a 1998 mercury 200 efi and it idles rough but when you give it a little fuel it smooths right out let off back to idling rough. It also will not push itself up the trailer when loading have tried different props will not die or miss just like it doesn't have the power, but however it does not hesitate to get on plane. Was looking at my motor and seen my knock sensor was loose and read that effects timing could that be the idle and trailer problem. Thanks
