Stocking for FishLocalVA *More F1's

DWR has stocked catchable-size channel catfish into multiple #FishLocalVA urban impoundments recently, while fingerling F1 largemouth bass, walleye, musky, and striped bass have been stocked into other waterbodies for fishing opportunities in future years. Walleye fingerlings have been stocked into Philpott Lake, the Staunton River, Leesville Lake, North Fork Pound Reservoir, Hungry Mother Lake, Flannagan Reservoir, and South Holston Lake. Striped bass fingerlings will be headed to Smith Mountain Lake, Leesville Lake, Hungry Mother Lake, Flannagan Reservoir, Claytor Lake, and Bugg's Island Lake/Kerr Reservoir. And F1 largemouth bass fingerlings are stocked into Oak Grove Lake, Dorey Park Lake, Claytor Lake and Smith Mountain Lake.

The F1 largemouth are having a positive impact on SML, I'd think that walleyes would do well here but they never seemed to become a viable fishery.

Why waste F1’s on Dorey park lake? Just seems like they’re gonna just end up in lake crisco and the ones that don’t will eat the trout they stick, send more to chesdin.
