EchoMap Plus 95sv - Bottom search limit

In my 2D sonar setup there is a setting called "Bottom Search Limit". It give me four choices - Auto, 100m, 300m, and 600m. 99% of the ponds I fish in are less than 50m. Which would be the better setting: auto or 100m?

    Thanks again.

Yes, you always want to set the bottom search limit as low as you can given your maximum depths. In your case this would be 100m. This setting limits the algorithm used by the MFD to initially and more efficiently track the bottom.
