We had a great turn out for our men's camp out and fishing trip this spring. We stayed at Campbell Point down at Shell Knob again. Even though the water was high, the ramp was in good shape and the courtesy dock was usable. Thursday and Friday were absolutely perfect days to camp and fish. We caught bass, white bass, walleye and cat fish. We caught plenty of fish for our big fish fry we always do on Friday night. Saturday was a different story. Those of us with any quitting sense at all packed up an left before noon on Saturday after hearing the flood warnings for the rest of the afternoon. However, Brad and I stayed and fished in the monsoon. And boy are we glad we did... we caught 'em and caught 'em..... Can't wait until out fall trip to Stockton now....
