    Boat lifted from the James River

    To all that heard about the sunken boat on the James a buddy of mine was fishing there today and saw a crane get it out of there. I have attached the pictures he sent. That was pretty fast. boat from james to bbc.jpgboat from james 2 bbc.jpg

    So true. Last year I had a kayak blow off my dock and float around for a couple days and when I pulled it out there were two sunfish living in it.

    I'm the guy that took the pics today. Thanks Jinxbass for posting them for me. I saw the barge and crane around 8 o'clock this morning. Around 9:30 I saw a barge tender with around five guys on it headed up to the crane. I was hoping to go back up river this afternoon and watch them lift it. At 3:15 I was going to go watch and here they come down river around Dutch Gap. I stopped and took the pics. They were quicker than I thought raising it up. At least I got to see the boat. I did notice there were no numbers or markings on it.
