    Mega Live question

My understanding is the ML has two cables, ethernet and transducer. Is that correct? Second question. Will the transducer from the ML cause me to have to remove the transducer for SI and DI? Or is there a splitter for that?

MEGA Live is ethernet and connects to the ethernet port on the unit or on the hub. Mega 360 is transducer. There is a splitter for the transducer.

You don't need a splitter for the other transducer since Mega Live doesn't affect the transducer port. You will be able to use the "normal" transducer exactly as you would without the Mega Live. That is one advantage of having it connected via Ethernet and not be transducer connected like the Mega 360.

I believe its compatible with Helix G3N and G4N (MSI/DSI), and All Solix/Apex.

Wayne, so does this mean I can run Mega Live, Mega 360 to my single Helix 15 MDI? And network the mega live to the Ethernet port box instead of the unit?

Yes, if you have more than two Ethernet devices. It's no different than the original 360 which is also an Ethernet accessory.

This is the original 360 shared to a Helix, SOLIX, and ONIX via the Ethernet Switch.

So I’ve got the helix 15 on the bow, ultrex link, helix 12 MDI g4, and a helix 10 msi G2N, 5 port switch. I should be able to toggle between mega 360 screen and mega live screens with the single bow unit? If so, sweet!

Anybody answering this question is purely speculating. It wouldake sense that you would be able to do what you describe but, until more information is known or the operations manual comes out, nobody knows for sure.

The Humminbird rep at the Classic said that you would be able to network the Mega Live on all compatible units on your network. He also said
that the Mega Live can have a split screen view or full screen view.
