Hydra sport VL-485.

I picked up a 85 hydra sports VL-485. 19’ with a mariner 200 on it. Would love to find out some info on these. Pros, cons etc. It doesn’t have a jack plate. I would like some input on that as well as anything I can get on the motor. Serial # 6625925. 2 piece cowl so it’s gonna be a pre 90’s I hear.
