    2022 PII ordered

Dropped the hammer today on a 2022 P2. I made the mistake of getting rid of my last one, I will not do that again. But for a person with zero patience, this will be the longest 4-5 months of my life.

So, you're saying I can put my future boat in my Sig?

    Congrats and good luck.

Moral of this story is don't get rid of your boat until your new one is ready for delivery

I waited for a custom ordered F350 King Ranch in 2015. It was a hard 8 week wait. Waiting half a year would be rough for sure, but the wait will be worth it to get exactly what you want. Congrats.

Presently that is the existing time line for maximum build time. We do not control Humminbird, Mercury, Yamaha and other vendor items we simply buy and install. Demand is up and demand for our products is up further than many in comparison to our production ability now.

    Excellent news for the company.
Good news for BCB owners. Bad news for those with little patience, or those that sold their boats before receiving the new rig!

I work at Miller's Boating Center, you don't want to know some of the motor delays we are seeing for repowers. Some Humminnbird stuff is starting to trickle in. Raptors and trolling motors are still a problem though.

    I'm in that same "boat"

But... the dealer made a trade in offer I could not refuse!

Very true I have little patience but I also had shoulder surgery 3 months ago and that’s keeping me from doing a lot of stuff including fishing.

I ordered a P2 on March 3rd and my dealer still has no estimate as to when it may start being built.

Unfortunately that is common place in the marine industry. We just placed an order for a 300hp Yamaha for a customer's saltwater boat. We were told by Yamaha an estimated date of June 2022. Most of the boat brands we carry are not giving build/delivery times these days. This is due to parts and material shortages. Some companies also told us they are having a hard time with staffing.
