HomePort Discontinued?

Based on comments on this forum I was looking forward trying out Homeport for waypoint management, but according to Garmin's website HomePort has been discontinued;

I was able to find a download available for HomePort on Mac, but since HomePort doesn't work with the LakeVu G3 maps I didn't bother to download it...


Has anyone found a good HomePort alternative that runs on macOS or Windows?


It seems Garmin thinks ActiveCaptain is a suitable replacement for HomePort but it only runs on iOS or Android. Trying to manage waypoints on my iPhone tiny screen is a non-starter for me...


I'm currently using a combination of Google Sheets, GPS Visualizer and Google Earth, it would be nice to find a single application...

I had that the other day and now they say to use Basecamp program......i still use Home Port but dont use any maps with it.....

I agree with you, no way to use a phone to manage waypoints, maybe a few here and there but not a few hundred at a time.....
