Ranger 2002 518 tandem axle trailer. Will a Fulton F2 3200lb. winch fit on my trailer without interfering with nose of boat? Mine is starting to get a little "loose". Have heard great things about the Fulton. Just thought I would see if anyone on here has put one on this trailer before I buy one.
I'm not sure if your trailer is the same up front as mine (2000 Ranger R83, Rangertrail Single Axle) but I purchased the 3200 lb. F2 and it was way too large to fit. I ended up sending it back and purchased the 1600 lb. F2 and it's tight, but it fits. The original Fulton winch was rated at 1500 lbs. so I knew the 1600 would be sufficient. Here is a pic of the front of my trailer with the new winch.

KYRANGERMAN, thanks. The base mine mounts to is different than yours. It's more level to ground and has several more holes for moving base up or down. Maybe it will work. Thanks again.
