Based on that video I would say it doesn't look better than the Garmin LS. And I'm a Humminbird guy who has put off buying LS to see what Mega Live was going to look like.

I am a Humminbird guy for life through and through. BUT, I have to say, this is not very impressive. My expectations were much higher than reality. Oh well......still love my Mega 360.
Wow I had much higher expectations than what was shown. With it being mega imaging I was hoping for more of a garmin quality image or hopefully better.
They left a bird turd on the Solix screen at 2:09? Really? Hoping that is not a metaphor. Probably indicates how much of a hurry they were in to get this video to market.
I still may give it a shot. I would like to see video showing some fish around brushpiles since I will probably use it crappie fishing more than anything. I don't want a second unit on the front of my boat and I already have Mega 360. But yes... that promo was not as spectacular as I expected.

I was hoping for more myself since it's the last of the major companies to come out. I run a Solix at console and a Garmin up front for LS. I think I be sticking with the LS.

Dang you guys are hard to please! Glad to see something released, hard to see how good or bad it might be but at least it is something. I'm sure we will now see more videos and screenshots. At long as Mega Live does not have the dead spots my Garmin Livescope has I'll probably switch. The rest of you guys go.ahead and buy Livescope and can do your Mega Live preorders so that I can get one!!!
Anyone know what comes in the kit? I'm assuming there's a processing unit and whatnot.

One video of one fisherman using Mega Live with Helix doesn't tell me that Mega Live isn't compatible with my Solix.
