    Trolling motor on a Targa

    I’ve always been a MotorGuide guy. I purchased a 06 Targa V175 this winter with a MinnKoa 55 power drive that is already giving me problems. I’m looking for suggestions/recommendations for a replacement. Will a cable drive work on this boat?

    I would get an XI5, terrova or ulterra. I had some experience with a power drive before on a pontoon and it was horrible. The others are much better. A cable drive is not well suited for those boats IMO.

    I just put a Ghost 60” on my Targa 18V. It works Awesome.
