Do you trailer with your hydraulic jackplate all the way down?

I saw a post on the general tab and wondered how many in here trailer with their plate all the way down? Or, partially up? I've been trailering with mine partially up. I have a Bob's Action Jack.

I ran mine all the way up and left the motor on trim rams no transom saver.

Do you think it's OK for me to trailer it up all the way and use my motormate? Or, would that not be advisable?

You gotta see what it looks like. Mine was high enough I didn’t use anything.

For what it's worth, I spoke with an engineer at Bob's today and he said it won't hurt the structural integrity of the plate to trailer it all the way up, but they recommend it be in the down position. The reason for this is the plate could collect dirt, dust, and road debris. The down position helps protect the greased plastic tracks that the slide plate moves up and down in.
