Front pedestal seat pops loudly when my weight shifts

All bolts/base screws are tight on my Springfield spring lock 13.5-20" power rise pedestal. Anyone else had this problem and possible fixes?

I read this post http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=714699 but didn't see any comments that applied.

I had to replace my front post base as to the weld around the base cup rusted through. My boat has the painted vinyl interior and I painted truck liner on top of that. Like you said, the base plate is held on with cap screws and nylon locking nuts.
