When I remove the gas cap air blows out. Is this normal as my dealer claims? And what about air getting sucked in when gas cap is removed? I have had major fuel tank issues in the past, just wondering if this is something I need to look into.

The dealer should know, but it doesn't sound normal to me. To be sure, I would pull the vent hose off at the tank end and blow it out in that direction to be sure it's not plugged so it "vents" properly.

You would think my dealer would know but like I said they told me it is normal. My FXR was in the shop for almost 2 months last year so at this point I think they don’t want to be bothered with my questions. Plus I don’t trust them which is why I post here and look for BBC feedback.
Mine always makes an air noise when removing the cap.
I have a video to post but I can’t get it to upload. Can anyone help?
yes it is normal the tanks thanks to the epa an the way they have to do gas tanks at this time.
