There are a few after market mounts that work well vs the flush mount. The precision sonar is great. Bass boat technologies also makes one as well. I ran the BBT mount on my ranger and liked having the minor on a gimble after having a 9 flush mounted.
I have one that is solid with no holes and I believe I have one cutout for a HDS 9 if you’re still looking.
