    20 hp stalls on acceleration

20 hp 4 stroke stalls on acceleration . Items checked or replaced to date.
Compression and spark good, fuel system cleaned multiple times, fuel delivery checked and installed a portable tank. Water pump replaced , cold enrichment solenoid replaced , carb set to factory settings ( owner had idle would up to 1,500 rpms)
Motor ran fine this spring in cooler weather now today stumbles n stalls 92 degrees out. Primed bulb multiple times to purge any vapor incase vapor locking.
    Any suggestions ??

My 40hp is doing the same thing! It’s intermittent tho, sometimes it runs great? I’m guessing it’s some kind of a fuel delivery problem

After extensive research, I finally found the problem. The rubber insulator on the high pressure fuel pump collapses after the engine warms up. Honda is very aware of this problem with the smaller hp engines. The fix is you have to remove the insulator and trim about 1/8” off of the smaller side of the insulator and then just reassemble everything. Runs like a champ now!
