    Like an isolated thermocline in the water column and maybe a hole in the bottom if there is much flow. I have a screenshot of one and will post it if I can find it.

    on a couple lakes I fish I have seen isolated holes but never thought they might be springs . I will have to take a second look at them .

    Cooler temperature over a vent is usually a tip off. In fact on a calm day you can actually see a slight raise in the surface and in some cases can see the surface current in a circular pattern.

    Nice Wayne! Even shows the fish hanging there and the haze is probably the denser cool water.
