    2021 Z19 top speed

    My buddy just got a new Z19 with the merc 200. He’s only getting 65 on top speed. He has a 23p 3 blade prop. It starts to walk bad around top speed. What prop should he be running also what should his prop to pad be?

    Had mine for 3 years.....best I've seen was 69, alone and lightly loaded. It walks but nothing too bad a little driving won't correct. Others are seeing better. I rarely run WOT so not a big deal to me. Just ran with the stock setup. Trading it Wednesday for my 2021 z21.

    If he isn't fixing the walking he is scrubbing speed or not getting what is there already. Need to work on driving

    My PTP is 3.3 inches, Fury 23p. I have seen 68 by myself lightly loaded. Slight chine walk. Best I have seen with 2 people and 1/2 tank is 66.2. I have not messed with any other configuration, happy with it.

    He raised his Jack plate 1” today and is now getting 68 he’s happy now.

    So what is his PTP height? I have a 2019 Z19 and I have seen 66.4 and if i don't watch my trim I get very bad chime walking.
